The Trend: Spring Florals

The Trend: Spring Florals

Nothing says spring like a pretty floral print, and it's back in a big way for 2012. Seen on the spring runways of Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler, Alturazza, and many a magazine page, flowers are no stranger to the runway or the high street.

Afraid of looking like you raided your grandmother's closet? Pair bold floral prints with a leather jacket, or simply accessorize your look with a flirty rose headpiece. We've already spotted this key spring trend on style-mavens Miranda Kerr, Jessica Alba, and a red-carpet-ready Rachel McAdams.

How The Ray & The Ro Would Wear Floral:

Ray: Floral prints have been a spring staple for the past few years, but I prefer the darker prints. I love the Topshop Shanghai Floral Print Shell, which I would pair with knit socks and sandals for a perfect weekend outfit.

Ro: Any floral print piece makes a big statement, so I always like to complete the look with solid colors. As a petite girl, I try to make sure I don't get lost in bold print floral. My perfect flower-power outfit is a floral print trouser pant (which I love on Jessica Alba) paired with neutral wedges and a bold color top to tie whole outfit together.
