Hey, this is Oh Land, and you're watching marieclaire.com.

You go down, down, down. I fall out of love with you. Come back now, now, now.

Oland is my middle name, my full name is Nanna Oland Fabricius, I thought it was nice to used my Oh- like my middle name because it's my real name, and then it's also like something abstract, it's like a land where I feel like where I write music, and step into this little world [unknown] where I get inspired for my songs. I grew up in a very, like, inspiring environment, because there's always like musicians coming in and out of the house because my mom was a [unknown], my dad was a musician too, I was- I was definitely raised with the idea that you, like, create yourselves and that you- like- if it's- there's something you wanna wear you tried to create it, you're not really good with it, you now, all I give is, you know, if you wanna hear music, you just sing, and I think that really like inspired me. I feel like my friends and family kinda like expect it for me to become a musician, they were musicians, like my family are all musicians, they knew that I was always like singing and writing secretly, when- when people doesn't hear, when I thought they weren't listening. And I think because they expected that which is like, "no, I'm not gonna be a musician." So, [unknown] I trained 18 and I got into secondary that I have to [unknown] and after a while I just found out that the reason I try on something in the first place was because of music. [unknown] myself right away I have to, like, why have [unknown] myself [unknown] musician when that's we're always naturally go when I have something I wanna express. Electronic and cinematic [unknown] I think that's most exactly, I kinda explain it, it has like- it a lot of different facets, and it has, as well as it [unknown] all part of, you know, the emotions that I have something, like happy [unknown], something that has tragic, [unknown] stories. My mom, yeah, I love singing with my mom, we just [unknown] a lot when I was a child and- yeah, it's something special.

This Is A Developing Story
