Sara Holzman
Sara Holzman is the Style Director at Marie Claire, where she oversees the brand’s fashion coverage across print and digital. With more than a decade of experience in fashion media, she reports on and edits stories spanning seasonal fashion trends, celebrity style, emerging and established designers, shopping, and the fashion industry at large. She also covers Fashion Month, reporting on the collections, trends, and street style coming out of New York, Milan, and Paris.
Since joining Marie Claire, Sara has helped shape the publication’s fashion point of view through reported features, designer profiles, trend coverage, shopping guides, and original fashion shoots. She works with leading photographers, stylists, designers, and other industry experts to bring editorial and celebrity shoots from initial concept through publication.
A graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism, Sara previously held fashion roles at Condé Nast’s Lucky and Self and contributed style and travel coverage to Equinox’s Furthermore. She is based in New York City, where she writes about fashion through both an industry and personal lens, including the realities of getting dressed as a working mom.
When she’s not working, Sara can usually be found at the farmers market, on a run, perfecting her roast chicken, or spending time with her family and pets. Follow her on Instagram at @sarajonewyork.
