'Stranger Things' Actress Priah Ferguson Shares Her Vegan Skincare Routine
The 13-year-old shares details on her beauty routine, vegetarian diet, and the key to confidence.
Actress Priah Ferguson may only be 13-years-old, but she's way ahead of her time. The Stranger Things star has been blowing us away on the big screen playing her character Erica in the debut Netflix series. She started acting in 2015 and made her debut in award-winning FX show Atlanta. Besides her knack for acting, the teen is also quite skilled when it comes to her skincare routine. On the latest episode of Masked and Answered, Ferguson puts on a face mask and shares her smart beauty and wellness routine.
She loves the Gleamin' Vitamin C Clay Mask ($40)—our former Masked and Answered guest Serayah is also a fan of this mask. "It contains aloe vera and turmeric, which I love because it gives my skin a nice tingly feeling," Ferguson says in the video. "To me, that means it's working." In the mornings, she uses Blume's Daydreamer Face Wash ($12). "It brightens up my skin, is vegan, and makes me feel great," she describes. Speaking of vegan, the teen is currently adopting a vegetarian diet. "Right now, I'm transitioning to a vegetarian diet, which has helped my skin overall and brought a nice glow," she explains. "It also just makes me feel healthier as a person." Um, goals goals goals.
After a long day she loves masking, then putting "coconut oil on [her] skin and calling it a day." Her favorite at-home beauty ritual involves using this Blume Meltdown Acne Oil ($28). And beauty-wise, she's not that big of a makeup person (yet) and loves skincare and all things hair. "I"m not too much of a makeup person because some brands attract pimples and little friends that come onto my face," she shares—happens to us all, girl. "Once my skin is looking great all I've gotta do is tie my hair in a knot. If my hair is looking great, I just put a little bit of coconut oil on my face." In her episode, she removes her mask to reveal glowing skin on the other side. She finishes by applying CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion ($12), which she credits for helping with her eczema.
When does she feel the most beautiful? Every day. "I feel beautiful every day because I keep up with myself, am naturally confident, and I always try to make sure I look on-point." Told you she was ahead of her time. Two snaps for this beauty lesson we all need to learn from Ferguson. Watch Ferguson's full beauty routine above.
