Lisa Frank Makeup Is Coming—but Only If the Kickstarter Raises Enough Money
THE TIME TO BAND TOGETHER IS NOW.
The '90s are back in a big way, and by Internet standards, that makes the forthcoming Lisa Frank makeup line a (relatively) long time coming. So here it is: Indie makeup brand Glamour Dolls Makeup is on the verge of bringing the most whimsical musings of your childhood to makeup bags everywhere, they just need a little help from the '90s babies to make it happen.
Known for its super fun and wallet-friendly beauty products, Glamour Dolls has announced that they are teaming up with beauty influencer Kandee Johnson to bring the Lisa Frank makeup line to life. However, In order to make your 9-year-old dreams come true, the makeup company has set up a Kickstarter to fund the line and is aiming to raise $30,000 by April 2nd.
At press time the Kickstarter was up to $21,000 with 44 days still left to go... so grab your childhood best friend and make her donate right now in memory of your rainbow unicorn trapper keepers.
Glamour Dolls and Johnson will work with Lisa Frank (the woman, the legend) to create a whimsical collection of five different products: a lip balm, matte mousse, liquid eyeliner, unicorn lippie, highlight powder, and a vegan leather makeup bag. The best part? Each product will only be $5. Glamour Dolls is both cruelty-free and vegan and has already produced a unicorn covered blush brush as a testament to their ongoing commitment to Lisa Frank forever.
Now, we patiently await a tutorial on how to achieve a Lisa-Frank-inspired purple cheetah print eye.
