Queen Elizabeth II has arrived at the funeral for her husband of over 70 years, Prince Philip.
The 94-year-old monarch arrived to the quadrangle of Windsor Castle in a car following a procession led by members of her family to St. George's Castle. Those in the march included her and Prince Philip's four children—Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward—and grandsons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
The queen wore a black coat dress for the ceremony, paired with a matching hat, gloves, heeled loafers, and her trademark strand of pearls. While participants in the outdoor procession were unmasked for the beginning of the ceremony, the sovereign was wearing her face mask from the start, and is expected to wear it throughout the entire service.
Prince Philip's funeral service today was a pared down ceremony, as social gathering restrictions have been put in place across the U.K. for the ongoing pandemic. Only 30 guests were in attendance for the service, including senior members of the royal family and close aides of the Duke of Edinburgh. Since the duke's passing last week, the entire royal family has shared tributes to Prince Philip on social media.
Just yesterday, the royal family Instagram account shared a rare photograph from the queen's private archives, featuring her and her husband smiling together, relaxing in a field in Scotland.

"Her Majesty and the Royal Family are grateful for all the messages of condolence from around the world and have been touched to see and hear so many people sharing fond memories of The Duke, in celebration of his life," read a note next to the sentimental photograph.
