We've already sung the praises of Banks' woeful new single "Drowning," — a sizzling break-up anthem if we've ever heard one — and now it has a stirring music video to match.

In the video, directed by Mike Piscitelli, we find Banks in a mirrored space reminiscent of one of Yayoi Kusama's infinity rooms. She slinks and winds inside her hyper-real sphere singing her deliciously scornful lyrics. We can't eulogize enough about poignant lines such as: "From the girl who made you soup and tied your shoes when you were hurting/You were not deserving."

We're not sure who the old flame behind the lyrics is, but we do know one thing: she wears vengeful well — with a Veronica Lake side part, bewitching cat eyes, and roomy crop top suits.

Banks' album Goddess drops 9/9.
