Leaving poor, stressed-out George R. R. Martin to chase the runaway school bus his own creation has become (opens in new tab), HBO is reportedly close to renewing Game of Thrones for another two seasons.

According to the Hollywood Reporter (opens in new tab), HBO programming president Michael Lombardo recently said the premium cable network is close to ordering the drama's seventh and eighth seasons, although it was unclear if the series would continue after that. ("Please, please, please," said you plus all the actors who would be making *bank* should the deal go through.)

Either way, Jon Snow (BELIEVE (opens in new tab)) and friends return April 24, so you know—there goes your social life.
