The Rodarte Sisters' Directorial Debut Is Here and It Looks So Creepy (and So Gorgeous)

Kirsten Dunst stars in the scary and sublime Woodshock.

Clear you summer schedule, because the debut trailer for Woodshock has just premiered and it's a stunner. In the event that you haven't been following the buzz, Woodshock comes from fashion designers and first-time directors Kate and Laura Mulleavy (AKA the sisters behind Rodarte), and stars Kirsten Dunst as Theresa, a "haunted young woman spiraling in the wake of profound loss, torn between her fractured emotional state and the reality-altering effects of a potent cannabinoid drug."

Judging from the trailer below, Woodshock is one part thriller, one part deep dive into human emotion and (possibly?) insanity. Either way, it's an art lover's dream come to life, rich with color, texture, and creativity—which is hardly a surprise given its creators.
