The show was magical.

Marc Jacobs closed out NYFW with the type of show that makes editors immediately run to their computers to file a story. There was the surprise appearance by Miley Cyrus on the runway, an interactive dance portion, and, finally, the outfits themselves. Guests who attended the show witnessed choreography by Karole Armitage and as the performance went on, the models debuted the fall 2020 lineup. "Karole's choreography brings the culture influences of today into conversation with a past New York I will forever love, not for longing of time passed, but for moments that are timeless in reference," said the show notes. Jacobs zeroed in on this theme of nostalgia with runway looks that evoked Jackie Kennedy vibes and presented variations of his own designs from the '90s. Once again, Jacobs kept everyone on the edge of their seats with his show. Check out the fall 2020 collection, ahead.
