2017 is really serving up the Insta-worthy nail art. First, we became obsessed with the glitter tears manicure. Then, there was the wire nails trend that blew up the Internet. Now, we have our sights set on *mosaic glitter nails*, which debuted at Naeem Khan's Fall 2017 show during NYFW.

A striking complement to the collection—which featured a slew of sumptuous embroidery and embellishment—the designs consisted of color-blocked patches of bronze, gold, and silver confetti glitter for a mosaic-like effect. The best part? You can totally recreate the look at home.

The shimmery pattern, dreamed up by celebrity nail artist Gina Edwards for KISS Products, was first applied to KISS' imPress Press-on Mani pre-glued nails. Each nail artist had their own work station with the glitter poured into different piles.

To create the designs, the manicurists dipped their small flat brushes into clear nail polish before submerging them into the glitter and applying each shade in a tear-drop shape on the nails. Lastly, they brushed on KISS' Gel Strong Topcoat to seal everything in.

While taking a mosaic approach to nail art isn't exactly new—you can create similar looks with polish, gold foil, or crystals—glitter is the easiest route to go. Plus, the stuff is as popular as ever. And thus we expect to see a slew of sparkly collaged digits in our feeds.
