So Kristin, what I'm gonna do is take your natural look that you've come to me in which is from straight from the office and I'm gonna show you in 3 simple, simple applications as far as eyes, cheeks and lips how I can take your look right now from natural into a look that's gonna be totally ready to wear evening- going out with your boyfriend, girlfriends, dancing, light club, that kind of thing. So what I'm gonna use here is black. Scary black, but I think it'll look amazing on you. And just close your eyes. Now what you wanna do is just- around her eye area. Start incorporating, and yeah like I've said, you see my right finger wiping off and smudging. That's totally fine. You wanna be able to do that. And getting rid of the residue. And open. Look straight up. Great.
What I'm going is I'm basically brushing and putting it on, but with make-up, one of the greatest tips I've ever learned is don't be afraid to put more because you can totally wipe it off. And this actually is a powder that is going to turn and look out to almost a basic sort of wet eye look. That sort of Christina Aguilera- pop icon, smoky Britney Spears, [unknown] which is great when you go to a club. You wanna feel like your eyes are standing out, that you wanna get very quickly.
How do you know when to use the shimmer and when to use a matte eye shadow?
I think the best way is personal taste, so if you're a young girl, shimmer is great, but if you're an old woman, I think- look up, shimmer needs to be in the right places. So maybe shimmery blush is great as oppose to shimmery eye shadow. And then on top of that if you want to add a little bit of black eyeliner because it's that funky time of year, you can totally just- quickly with a pencil, pop that into the corners of your eye like this and it just gives it like a hot, sexy look. I think one of the things about blush is what color to wear, which tone to wear. In this case, what I'm gonna do- I like your pale complexion. I'm just gonna incorporate some rose on the centers of your apple just to brighten you up. It also has a little bit of a luminous sheen to it. There's a pearlizer in this blush, so you get color and you also get a sheen to it. And then on your lips I was thinking that perhaps we go for something in a lip gloss, but at the same time add some modern [unknown]. It's a hot fuchsia pink. It doesn't give you a thick, heavy coverage, but what it does to you is totally re-vamp your lip look in the sense that you now have a sheen to it. On top of that, you know how to really modern bright color and basically in 3 steps, we went from lip stain, lip gloss, a rosy pink cheek and then finally, the black, smoky eyelid with a little bit of eye [unknown] on. How do you think that is gonna look? I think you're gonna look pretty. Damn sexy.
Thank you.
