When Jean-Leny Met Elise Video

Who knew scaling a fence would lead to true love with an adorable Frenchman? For this quirky couple, no barrier is too big to make it work.

We met in Central Park, I was scaling up front to go the bathroom, and he was walking back- he was walking by on the other side.

I was walking and I saw- I saw [unknown] jumping on fence, one of them fell on the floor because one of them was drunk, obviously.

I literally jumped into a barn, then he gave me his business card which surprised me because, you know, you're supposed to ask for the girl's number instead of giving a business card.

Why American people, you know, they give, you know, their number so easily but nothing happens, after when you try to call her, you know, she's not gonna call you back.

No one returns the call.

Yeah, on our first date, we went to the museum.

Yeah, we went to the Bodies exhibit-

So, it's all dead bodies, and he says, "why not" and it was really gross, and really informative, and I remember I [unknown].

Nobody like to care. Okay, in France usually when you go out with a girl [unknown] and official, it was a real relationship, you know-

I didn't know. I didn't realize. I didn't realized we were dating, I just thought we were hanging out, but I- you know, apparently we were boyfriend, girlfriend. I didn't realize that until a couple of months in.

I knew it, you know, I knew it.

Yeah. He understands me on such a profound level, and I just sort start of trying to see him funny because we come from 2 entirely different background, speak 2 languages, and, you know, there's an age difference between us, so I'm 5 years older, and it just despite all these barriers, he just totally got me.
