She contributes and edits interviews with talent, features and trend stories about pop culture, and SEO content. She's a lifelong music and film fan, which led to her career path in culture journalism. On a given weekend, she can be found at the cinema seeing a new release or retrospective screening, at her favorite independent venue checking out up-and-coming bands, and getting out to enjoy all that New York City has to offer, from its nightlife and dining scenes to its museums and vintage shopping. In her coverage, she has a passion for uplifting rising stars, and a special interest in cult-classic movies, emerging arts scenes, and all genres of music, from DIY to pop. Before Sadie joined Marie Claire in April 2024, she held positions as a Digital Music Writer at PEOPLE, the Music and Culture Editor at Alternative Press, and the Associate Culture Editor at Thrillist. In all her past experiences, she worked on both strategizing editorial plans and publishing creative pieces, including profiles of major musicians and actors, features about entertainment, and more. In her eight years of experience covering entertainment, her byline has also appeared in Billboard, Interview Magazine, NYLON, and Rolling Stone, among other outlets. She is a graduate of The New School, where she graduated with honors with a bachelor of arts degree in Journalism + Design.
