Yep, it turns out that Laverne Cox is just as into Shonda Rhimes's period hit Bridgerton as the rest of us! For the 2021 Golden Globe Awards (airing right now), Cox wore a regal braided updo which she attributes to her love of the show… and maybe Regé-Jean Page (the Duke of Hastings, for any of you who've been under a rock).

Cox, who appears in the Golden Globe–nominated film Promising Young Woman, is clearly bingeing the same shows as the rest of us. Cox has previously gushed about her love of Bridgerton, and she didn't hold back on the subject during E!'s virtual Golden Globes red carpet. In conversation with Karamo Brown of Fab Five fame, Cox revealed that her pinned-up double braids, which are the work of hair stylist Kim Kimble, were inspired by the romantic drama. "I've been giving a little period moment," she said. Cox paired the updo with a custom stunning red gown designed by Thai Nguyen with sleeves that were bringing their own drama.
But in case Regé-Jean is about to slide into Cox's DMs, she clarified that she's happily paired up at the moment. But her love of the show lives on!
