Gal Gadot Was the Highest-Grossing Actress of 2017

Gal Gadot has had a good year. The Wonder Woman star topped Forbes' list of highest-grossing actresses, pulling in a whopping $1.4 billion in movie tickets worldwide. Guess that's what playing one of the most famous, badass heroes in the world twice in one year will do.

Gadot was also the third highest-grossing actor overall for the year, just behind Vin Diesel, who pulled in $1.6 billion in global ticket sales for XxX: The Return of Xander Cage and The Fate of the Furious, and Dwayne Johnson, who came in second with $1.5 billion for The Fate of the Furious, Baywatch, and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (which is still in theaters and continuing to add to his 2017 total).

The incredible actress has put her box office power to good use, pressuring Warner Bros. to remove Brett Ratner, who was accused by multiple women of sexual misconduct, from working on the Wonder Woman sequel.
