Earlier this week, Kristen Stewart's new film Personal Shopper was reportedly met with a sprinkling of boos when it screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Both K-Stew and her director Olivier Assayas have since brushed off the incident et voilà, now there is a trailer for the rest of you non-Cannes people. Personal Shopper tells the story of a celebrity fashion assistant and personal shopper who tries to communicate with the ghost of her brother. She's sort of stuck in France because that's where he died and they made a pact. Really though, K-Stew should be where this hot guy is, a place that seems much nicer, brighter, and free of ghosts.
Anyway, she keeps going back to her dead brother's house to turn off a faucet, which is of course not enough. Give her a good scare! Turn on a light or something! Someone—her brother's ghost maybe?—also keeps on sending her creepy texts, which is basically an excuse for K-Stew (or a hand double) to show off her excellent texting skills. Seriously, those fingers are moving way too fast.
Personal Shopper has yet to receive a release date in the U.S.
