Dukes and duchesses, they're just like us. According to a royal expert, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Kate Middleton and Prince William have been doing their best to reconnect with one another after a rocky few months—and what better way to do that than a good old video call, amirite?

"I know that the four are talking with one another and they’re talking by Zoom [and by] FaceTime," Stewart Pearce recently told Us Weekly. "They’re very close with one another."

The expert added, "Their lens on the world is highly individualized. And what’s remarkable is that they all totally respect [each other], but this lens is different."

Relations haven't been easy between the two brothers and their wives since the Sussexes decided to step aside from their royal duties in early 2020, but recent reports have painted a more conciliatory picture. Markle and Middleton were said to be "getting along really well," and even rumored to be considering working on a joint Netflix project.

Meanwhile, back in July, the two princes were apparently taking "baby steps" towards improving their relationship, according to royal biographer Robert Lacey. "Obviously, it's not going to be a total reconciliation, but I think it's its first baby steps towards some sort of new arrangement in the future," Lacey said at the time, commenting on Prince Harry's appearance in the UK for the unveiling of a statue of mom Princess Diana at Kensington Palace.

So while it's hard to imagine the four royals shouting, "you're on mute" and, "turn your mic off, Wills," at a laptop screen, it's nice to hear they're making progress.
