Facebook Bug Reveals How Popular You REALLY Are With View Count Function

NO NO NO we don't want this!

It turns out random Facebook glitches don't always result in hilarious anecdotes like they probably would for 5SOS , as the latest bug actually reveals how popular you are with a view count tool. AGH. 😱

If you get sucked into obsessing over how many likes your profile picture gets or whether Jim from your math class will *ever* comment on your status, you can now see exactly how many people have seen your post throughout the day.

Alas, it's actually just a bug that the teams over at Facebook are working to remove, probably because it sounds like THE WORST THING IN THE WORLD and the route to social media anxiety.

The bug is apparently only affecting the mobile site while the desktop and app versions seem fine, and it's not clear why some people are seeing a view count and others aren't.

One thing that is clear, though, is that twitter users aren't loving the bug and rolling it out as a proper function would be a big mistake. So there's that.

Now can we go back to sharing pictures of our dog wearing earmuffs without the fear of everyone else knowing no one actually cares what Buttons is up to? Great.
