New 'Game of Thrones' Photos Tease the Return of an Important Character

Remember this guy?

We now have even more photos from Game of Thrones Season 7 to fawn over, and they offer a big hint at what's to come. In new images released by HBO to international sites, we get a preview of Beric Dondarrion's (Richard Dormer) return next season.

A quick refresher on Dondarrion: He's the leader of the Brotherhood Without Banners, a guerrilla outlaw group that formed after he and fellow knights were sent by Ned Stark to restore peace in the Riverlands. Perhaps more impressively, he's died and been brought back to life several times by Thoros of Myr (a red priest of the Lord of Light, like Melisandre).

Last time we saw him, he had just run into The Hound in Season 6 and was convincing him to join the Brotherhood. It appears that The Hound might've accepted his offer, because new promo photos seem to hint that they're traveling together. According to fan site Winter Is Coming, it's possible that new photo of Dondarrion and this previously-released photo of The Hound from Season 7 were taken in the same place or scene.

The snowy setting might be a sign that they've traversed North. In his final episode last season, Dondarrion told The Hound that "cold winds are rising in the North" and he wanted to fight them.

What will they find up there? Will Dondarrion need to be resurrected by Thoros of Myr again? If you recall in Season 4, Arya Stark added Dondarrion and Thoros to her death list for selling Gendry (who's also rumored to return) to Melisandre. If she runs into him in the North on her way home to Winterfell, she might do to him what she did to Walder Frey.

Other new photos include more shots of Daenerys landing in Westeros (likely at Dragonstone), Jon Snow brooding in the snow and Cersei and Jaime Lannister together.
