New 'Game of Thrones' Photos Hint at Hope for Daenerys
And Littlefinger is definitely up to no good.
Warning: This story contains spoilers for Season 7, Episode 3 of Game of Thrones and possible spoilers for Season 7, Episode 4.
Last weekend's episode of Game of Thrones, "The Queen's Justice," brought us a lot of meetings and reunions, namely the long-awaited encounter between Jon Snow and the Mother of Dragons. It was quite the meet-up with such powerful leaders finally coming face to face, though it mostly involved a lot of threatening stares and throwing around long, unnecessary titles. Bran and Sansa's reunion was also more than a little awkward as Bran is the three-eyed raven nowadays. As for Euron Greyjoy, the king of the Iron Islands has finally delivered his gift of Ellaria and Tyene Sand to Cersei. Now that all the set up is over with, we have a lot to expect in the show's upcoming episode next Sunday.
HBO's official description of "The Spoils of War" has yet to be released, but maybe these photos can give some hints for what's to come.
Daenerys, Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister, Ser Davos, Lord Varys, and Missandei gather on the beaches of Dragonstone, looking stone-faced and ready for confrontation.
Jaime and Bronn look worriedly into the distance with confusion and fear in their eyes. King's Landing might be in for more trouble than they originally thought.
Littlefinger stands in the shadows at Winterfell as the snow comes down. Winter is certainly coming and it looks like Lord Baelish is cooking up a plan.
Podrick and Brienne return, standing side-by-side, possibly in preparation to defend the north.
Theon, back from his dip in the ocean, stands on a beach, looking guilty but somewhat determined. Could he be at Dragonstone?

Missandei smiles as she has a private conversation with Daenerys on the beaches of Dragonstone. It's possible she could be talking about her steamy night with Grey Worm, but that's not usually their dynamic.
Jon Snow looks up at Daenerys and Missandei as they speak, overlooking the beach at Dragonstone.
Cersei—holding her signature glass of wine—and Tycho Nestoris, a representative from the Iron Bank, overlook the map of the Seven Kingdoms.
Theon helps pull a boat onto shore at what looks like Dragonstone. Daenerys might have some Greyjoys left to help her after all.
Sansa Stark has never looked more concerned as she stands in Winterfell's godswood on her own. As the temporary leader of the north, she might have more to deal with than she bargained for.
