Lizzie Olsen: Style Star on the Rise

Move over, Mary-Kate and Ashley—there's a new Olsen sister in town! Lizzie Olsen has earned some serious accolades for her breakout performance in Martha Marcy May Marlene, as well as for her standout style. We've rounded up the young actress' best looks so far, and we think it's fair to say that the 22-year-old is well on her way to fashion icon status. Don't forget to check out our exclusive shoot starring Lizzie in head-to-toe Chanel from the December issue!

Lizzie Olsen set herself apart sartorially from her sisters from the very beginning — while MK & A are known as the originators of "hobo chic" and often go the avant-garde route, their little sis prefers to keep it simple. Here she is at the New York screening of Mao's Last Dancer wearing a sweet, belted blue dress and clogs.

Lizzie continued her epic Martha Marcy May Marlene press tour in Cannes, where she called upon her older sisters for two standout ensembles. The first was this ethereal, white daytime look from The Row's Fall 2011 collection, and the intricate embroidery and the sheer fabric really blew us away.

Clearly Lizzie is an Erdem fan — she rocked a skirt from the label's Resort 2012 collection to an Armani Exchange and NYLON magazine dinner held in her honor. It looks like she's learned a thing or two from her sisters — pairing the feminine print with all black and a bold lip gives it that "Olsen" edge that we've grown to love.

Mary Kate and Ashley are already on Karl Lagerfeld's ever-growing list of muses, and we are willing to bet that he'll add their little sis next. Lizzie wore this blush gown from the Chanel Spring 2012 Couture collection to the BFI London Film Festival, and we think she looks darling.

If this final look doesn't prove that Lizzie is well on her way to style icon status, we don't know what will. She wore this stunning Chanel Fall 2009 Couture look to the The Museum Of Modern Art's 4th Annual Film Benefit to honor Pedro Almodovar.
