PICTURE THIS: Forty miles north of L.A., at a remote airstrip, a motley crew of media types gathers under a 104-degree sun. A 90-strong TV crew is filming the four finalists of VH1's The Shot, who are also shooting Stone as they compete for the title of America's next hot fashion photographer.
In addition to the celebrity-fashion challenge with Stone, contestants endeavored to outshoot each other in categories ranging from beauty campaigns to nudes. Says Roberts: "I was nervous the contestants would crumble under the pressure of shooting a celebrity in designer gowns . . . most of them didn't."
