Sarah Bogdan, Good Housekeeping Institute
Sarah Bogdan, a trained mechanical engineer, researches and evaluates home appliances and cleaning tools for the Home Appliances & Cleaning Products Lab at the Good Housekeeping Institute — whether she's assessing irons and vacuums or detergents and cleansers, she’s constantly analyzing data and tracking what’s buzzing with consumers. Sarah obtained a Bachelor of Science dual degree in Mechanical Engineering and Design & Innovation from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Prior to arriving at Good Housekeeping, she was a mechanical design intern at Snap-on Tools, a role that helped her develop expertise in various aspects of product development and manufacturing. Sarah is passionate about rugby and travel; on weekends, she is often playing in matches or planning her next trip. She also loves posting the messy aftermath of her failed cooking attempts on social media while telling herself she is creating the perfect environment in which to test more cleaning products.
