Watch Pharrell's Anime-Inspired 'It Girl' Video

His avatar dons that notorious Vivienne Westwood topper.

Pharrell is bringing us back to our Pokémon card trading days. His new video for GIRL's closing track 'It Girl' displays a fantastical anime world dreamt up by Takashi Murakami, whose etchings you might recognize from Kanye West's Graduation album artwork.

The short proves to be just as ecstatic as the Happy singer himself with a high-octane color scheme, tongue-in-cheek characters, and retro video games. Our favorite part is when Pharrell, ever the clothes horse, styles a group of ladies in ornate yukatas on a spaceship. Naturally, his avatar dons his infamous Vivienne Westwood hat.
