A year after welling up with tears as she spoke about her battle with anxiety and depression while on stage at the American Music Awards, Selena Gomez is preparing to make her return to the show with her first live performance in over a year.
Last night, the 25-year-old singer shared a sneak peek of her performance on Instagram, days before she'll take to the stage and sing the world television premiere of her latest single "Wolves."
In the clip, the singer—who is rumored to have reconciled with Justin Bieber since her split from The Weeknd earlier this month—can be seen dressed in black and sitting on the floor, microphone in hand.
"My first performance in over a year," Gomez captioned the footage. "The AMAs have been a place where I've shared some of my most intimate moments. Heart wants what it wants, after treatment and now 'Wolves.' This Sunday."
Gomez's performance will make it her first in over a year, months after she opened up about her shocking kidney transplant this summer.
The former Disney's star's Instagram post comes the same day her ex beau The Weeknd was seen leaving his ex girlfriend Bella Hadid's apartment after several hours.
All that remains to be seen is whether Justin Bieber and The Weeknd will make an appearance at the music awards, hosted by mother-daughter duo Tracee Ellis Ross and Diana Ross.
Will Justin sit beside Selena? Will The Weeknd sit beside Justin? Stranger things have happened.
