If you've been having major Empire withdrawals since Cookie Lyon and Co. wrapped up their first season back in March, well, same. While waiting for season two still seems slightly unbearable, Fox has finally offered some relief: a brand new trailer and two more songs from the show.

And just in case you were wondering if the series' next installment is able to live up to the masterpiece of season one, we're here to tell you that all signs point to yes. In just one minute, we're reminded of all the reasons we can't look away from the Lyon family: their dirty dealing, amazing music, big celeb guests (we see you, Marisa Tomei!) and of course, Cookie's fierce fashion sense.
"It's crazy how I can love you and hate you at the same moment," Lucious (Terrence Howard) tells Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) in the clip.
"I call it torture," she responds.
If the anticipation for the series to come back September 23 is what you call "torture," we hope these just-released tracks from the cast ("Ain't About That Money" and "No Doubt About It") can help ease the pain.
