Appearing on Z100's Elvis Duran Show in New York City this morning, Lady Gaga announced that yes, she will indeed appear on American Horror Story season six. While the studio screamed with delight (mirroring the reaction you may be having right now), Gaga added that she "can't promise you how or when or anything like that," which roughly translates to "I'll be on but the rest is a mystery as with everything Ryan Murphy is attached to." The good news comes weeks after Gaga took home her first Golden Globe Award for portraying The Countess on Hotel. (As you may recall, that was the evening she gave universal boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio a little bump on her way to the stage).
As Ryan Murphy told Entertainment Weekly last year, there are loose plans for a "fall American Horror Story and a spring…we have to decide." He also revealed that two different groups of writers rooms will be involved for the next season, which he promises will be "more rogue and more dark."
Gaga will join the previously announced Angela Bassett for the new season. No word on whether or not the ladies will have a repeat of *that* sex scene from Hotel.
