How Instagram Handled Rob Kardashian's Revenge Porn Posts

And what it means for regular users.

Earlier this week, Rob Kardashian posted a series of Instagram photos revealing intimate details about his relationship with Blac Chyna and also shared multiple explicit photos of Chyna on the platform. The posts have since been removed (and may provide grounds for Chyna to sue for revenge porn)—and Instagram itself has suspended Kardashian's account entirely.

An Instagram spokesperson toldBustle they "value maintaining a safe and supportive space for our community and we work to remove reported content that violates our guidelines. (Instagram's guidelines state that users cannot "post...pornographic or sexually suggestive photos" and "must not post private or confidential information via the Service, including... non-public phone numbers," which Kardashian's posts violated.)

Kardashian has now moved to Twitter, where he reposted some of his initial rant. "Since Instagram shut me down everyone peep my twitter lol," he started. ELLE.com won't be republishing them, but the posts are still up on Twitter as of press time, three hours after Kardashian posted them (though no explicit, nude images are.)
