I wake up early. At 6:30 a.m., I'm at my most optimistic. While my husband [actor Alessandro Nivola] and two kids, Sam, 8, and May, 2, are still sleeping, I steal downstairs and ring England to talk to my mom, sister, or best girlfriend.
Breakfast is my favorite meal. I cook a big one for everyone — bacon and eggs. I own a lot of eggcups.
J Brand and Steven Alan, Warby Parker glasses, Cartier jewelry. Clé de Peau and La Mer makeup.
When I'm panicked about my love handles, I go to the YMCA and get obsessed with Kid Rock videos as I'm on the running machine.
For evening events, I like to wear Jason Wu, Valentino, and Erdem. Some people come alive at night. I'm hopeless by 9 p.m. Coffee and Cadbury buy me an extra half hour. Often I can't get my clothes off I'm so far gone.
My husband meets me for lunch at the café on our corner, Building on Bond. After, I go get Sam from school and take him to a piano lesson. At night, I read him bedtime stories, though I start falling asleep and the words come out wrong. He'll say, "Mom, you're scaring me! I want Dad to put me to bed."
