Thanks to the release of Adele's new album, countless people will spend this weekend weeping softly into a body pillows. But because Adele cares about our mental health, she's bringing the laughs (or LOLs, we should say) to Saturday Night Live on November 21—presumably relying on the fact that we'll be too emotionally incapacitated to go out for the evening.
In the promo below, SNL host Matthew McConaughey gets a call on a flip phone from the dark ages (read: the early aughts), and Adele answers with the only acceptable greeting: "Hello?"
With any luck, Adele will bring her deadpan sense of humor to a few sketches, but more likely she'll perform songs from 25 and (unlike Celine Dion) our hearts will fail to go on.
