Over 50 lives were lost during Sunday morning's mass shooting at an Orlando gay club, and it's too heartbreaking for words. Each of these victims were innocent members of the LGBTQ community, and deserve to honored and remembered—something J.K. Rowling is using her platform to do.

The Harry Potter author mourned the the passing of 22-year-old Luis Vielma, who worked at Universal Orlando Resort's Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride as an assistant.

Rowling also retweeted the following note from his friend, who said the Wizarding World was Luis' world.

Our thoughts continue to be with Luis and other victims of this terrible hate crime. Love is love.
