Twitter Is Furious Sam Interrupted Gilly's Big 'Game of Thrones' Revelation

Tonight's episode of Game of Thrones, "Eastwatch," almost had the most important revelation in the series' history—except Samwell "Mansplain" Tarly interruped Gilly as she was about to make it.

Just to recap the infuriating moment, Sam is studying to be a big important maester, copying over all the Citadel's old records, as Archmaester Ebrose directed him to back in Episode 3. Gilly is helping, reading the older records to Sam and questioning their contents as he transcribes:

Twitter, of course, was not pleased with Sam breaking in on such important information, like Rhaegar Targaryen divorcing Elia Martell to marry Lyanna Stark, thus giving Jon Snow more of a claim to the Iron Throne than Daenerys. Face it, Sam—you f*cked up.
