PLUS: In-Depth on That Epic Fight Scene >>
It's unprecedented folks: a five-way tie for the bottom! So we're just going to rank them in the immediacy of their danger.
9. Tyrion Lannister
Action: Tyrion put his life in the hands of the Red Viper.
Verdict: Someone should have reminded him that snakes don't have hands. Tyrion's guilty of regicide now, no matter how the facts say otherwise. And the punishment for regicide is death.
8. Dorne
Action: Their prince is dead, mostly due to his own need for vengeance. Though the Mountain certainly had a hand in it.
Verdict: Pissing off House Lannister tends to be a bad idea. There's even a fairly droll song about it, after all. While the people of Dorne are innocent of that charge, that's hardly going to matter to Tywin.
7. The Night's Watch
Action: Learned that the Wildlings are a day's ride from the Wall.
Verdict: "How are 102 men supposed to kill 100,000?" That about sums up their chances. Especially when one of those men is Maester Aemon, who is blind, besides being 107 years old.
6. Arya Stark and The Hound
Action: Found out that all their hard work to travel to the Vale was for naught.
Verdict: Arya's solution of laughing hysterically is a pretty clear indication of their chances, don't you think? And that 'flea bite' of the Hound's isn't going to do him any favors if something isn't done about it soon.
5. The Iron Islands
Action: Driven from the North. At least the ones that Ramsay left some skin on.
Verdict: Stannis may not want to be a page in someone else's history book, but it seems as though Balon Greyjoy is destined to be a footnote on another person's page in a different person's history book. His conquest of the North brought the Iron Islands nothing but dead Ironborn and a well-crafted box.
4. Daenerys Targaryen
Action: Sent away her most trusted friend and advisor.
Verdict: Her father had a habit of assuming the worst of people too. They called him the Mad King, and his favorite pastime was burning people. It's rather alarming that his daughter has three dragons, which are fire made flesh.
3. House Bolton
Action: In a scene reminiscent of The Lion King of all things, Roose Bolton describes to Ramsay the vastness of the land they now control.
Verdict: Besides being legitimized as a trueborn son of Bolton, Ramsay also gets to hole up in Winterfell, which, after it's repaired, will be one of the sturdiest castles in the realm.
2. Sansa Stark
Action: Proved pivotal in Littlefinger's plan to hold the Eyrie.
Verdict: Staying useful to Littlefinger is always good for one's continued longevity. You can ask Ser Dontos Hollard, Ros, and Ned Stark what happens to those that have served their purpose. Or could, if he hadn't had them all murdered.
1. Littlefinger
Action: It's subtle, but Littlefinger really made moves to cement his power for his next move.
Verdict: By having Robin tour the veil, that leaves Baelish unrestricted access to the Eyrie's vast resources, You almost weep for whoever gets in his way next.
