Pharrell and Karl Lagerfeld Are Collaborating on a Chanel Film

Hip hip!

At long last, Pharrell and Karl Lagerfeld, the kings of collaboration, are banding together.

Pharrell, who reigns supreme in the music and fashion worlds alike, is taking his relationship with Chanel a step further. Karl Lagerfeld — who knows how to strike a sonic nerve, as well as a sartorial one — has directed Pharrell in the French brand's latest mini film, reports WWD. But wait, it gets better: Cara Delevingne and mini Chanel muse, 6-year-old Hudson Kroenig are also on board as "co-stars and dance partners." The filming took place in a Paris studio last week and the short will be screened during the Paris-Salzburg pre-fall collection show on December 2nd.

The next Chanel Métiers d'art collection will be unveiled at the Schloss Leopoldskron, an 18th-century Rococo palace in Austria.
