Giving Chapped Lips Some TLC

Beauty blogger Siobahn Bentley falls for Revlon's ColorBurst Lip Butters.

My biggest problem in these cold winter months is parched lips. The frigid air and blustery winds wreak havoc on my skin, and do nothing to help keep my lips soft and moisturized. I am forever applying different treatments; lip balms and creams (my favorite is Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream) keep the chapping at bay, but they lack the color-pop I demand from my lipstick.

Unfortunately, applying lipstick in these months means that every imperfection, crack and peel is highlighted for the world to see. Luckily, Revlon has come to my rescue with its new ColorBurst Lip Butters. These combine the great moisturizing quality of a lip balm with the color of a lipstick. Perfect! My favorite shade is 005 Sugar Frosting, the ideal everyday pink.

The lip butters, which are a mixture of mango, shea and coconut butter add the right amount of color to brighten my face, but are toned down enough to wear every day. There is now permanently a Lip Butter in my handbag!
