Erin Wasson's Edgy Street Style

Fresh-faced and dewy, Erin kept it simple sans jewelry in denim cut-offs and a sheer button-down at the Cinema Society W Magazine screening of "Elizabeth: The Golden Age."

At the Chanel Fine Jewelry event, "Nuit de Diamants," Erin wore a long white dress by Chanel, obviously. She accessorized the flowy, girly gown with boho touches—a tribal feathered headpiece and feather-embellished bag.

This getup is Erin in all of her model-off-duty glory. She sported a wavy '80s 'do, minimal makeup, and smart layers to the Alexander Wang Fall 2008 show—no wonder she's the designer's muse!

Super-short denim cut-offs are another Wasson favorite—she was spotted in them again at an Alexander Wang trunk show in 2008. Paired with a white tank, black vest, armload of bracelets, and a Low Luv x Erin Wasson cross necklace, Erin could have invented rocker chic.

Models are do-gooders, too! Erin was spotted at the 2008 launch of Gucci's Tattoo Heart Collection to benefit UNICEF.

Erin showed up to the Fall 2009 MBFW Alexander Wang show looking hippie-chic in some tie-dye flared pants and a crazy fur coat. Nothing better than some free love to balance out the stress of Fashion Week, right?

Polka dots, ombre fur, and a bowler hat don't sound like items you'd wear together, but Erin did—and wore them well—to the Wool and the Gang U.S. Debut and Unveiling of the Smile Dinner Celebration hosted by Julie Gilhart. No matter the combo, Erin's look is always cool and seemingly effortless.

The Erin Wasson x RVCA Launch in London was one of the few times we've seen Erin stray away from her regular grungy black and gray attire… and we like it. She's a little more polished than usual in a blue-and-purple poppy floral mini dress that's part of the Erin Wasson x RVCA collection.

Sex kitten, dominatrix, rock goddess—Erin could be any (or all) three in these black thigh-high boots and black mini at the What Comes Around Goes Around Fall 2009 Collection Launch. The dress could be a little longer, but we're digging her smoky eye and armful of bracelets. Her arm candy must be insane!

Messy topknot: check. Leather skinnies, bag, and boots: check. All black everything: check. Erin oozed "model" at the 2009 "The Model As Muse: Embodying Fashion" Costume Institute Gala.

Erin threw up the peace sign as she showed off her mile-long legs in leopard-print shorts at the 2009 Opening Ceremony opening reception party in Japan.

Erin added some red, white and blue to her traditional black at the Alexander Wang Spring 2010 show, and with side ponytail and half-tucked tee, her look screams, "I just-rolled-out-of-bed." But, if anyone can do that look right, it's Miss Wasson.

A little pink softens up Erin's usually rough look. She wore this mauve crochet dress with black ankle booties in 2010 to the Spring 2011 Alexander Wang show.

So chic, Erin! In graphite pants, a nude top, and just a few pieces of jewelry (instead of mountains of wraps, cuffs, and necklaces per usual), Erin kept the look minimal on the first day of Spring 2012 Fashion Week in New York.
