Emma is the fashion features editor at Marie Claire, where she writes deep-dive trend reports, zeitgeisty fashion featurettes on what style tastemakers are wearing, long-form profiles on emerging designers and the names to know, and human interest vignette-style round-ups. Previously, she was Marie Claire's style editor, where she wrote shopping e-commerce guides and seasonal trend reports, assisted with the market for fashion photo shoots, and assigned and edited fashion celebrity news.

Prior to joining team MC, Emma was a fashion writer at The Zoe Report, where she developed an interest in fashion feature writing by covering seasonal style analysis and designer profiles. Previously, she was a fashion news writer for The Zoe Report on the celebrity street style and industry news beat. Looking back, she worked as Elite Daily's fashion and beauty editorial intern, as a branded digital intern for Bustle Digital Group, worked in the fashion closet at V Magazine, wrote for Mission Magazine, and ran her own self-launched art publication, Childs Play Magazine.

Emma graduated from Fordham University Lincoln Center with a degree in new media and digital design and a minor in fashion studies. She currently lives in New York City (and has for going on eight years) but is originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Online, you can find her at @emmachilds_ on Instagram.
