The new trailer for Disney's A Wrinkle in Time dropped Sunday night and it is everything fans of the book wanted it to be—whimsical, magical, and empowering in all the right ways.
The movie, which is an adaptation of the classic novel by Madeleine L'Engle, follows Meg Murry, a young girl who learns that her astrophysicist father is in danger, being held captive by a great evil. Meg, along with her whip-smart younger brother, Charles Wallace, and her classmate, Calvin, must work with three astral travelers (Mrs. Which, Mrs. Whatsit, and Mrs. Who, played by Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling, respectively), to save him.
The movies also stars Storm Reid, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Chris Pine, and Zach Galifianakis, and is directed by Ava DuVernay.
