It seems like Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears are way past all that "Cry Me a River" drama. The famous exes had a rocky breakup, but have moved on over the years and are now balancing parenthood with continued fame. And it seems like these exes are so friendly, they're willing to work together.
Back in August, Spears listed Timberlake as one of her dream collaborators during a fan Q&A, alongside artists like Gwen Stefani and Steven Tyler. And it seems like the feeling is mutual. E! News told Timberlake about his ex's comments, and he seemed surprised―and excited about it. "She did? Sure! Absolutely, absolutely," he said, apologizing that he hadn't heard about the story before. "I have a 17-month-old so I don't get the headline news. I apologize for not being in the know…I'm accessible, give us a call!"
So come on, Britney, have your people call his people. It would be a brilliant business move for the both of them, since their fans cannot get enough early-2000s nostalgia. "I think everyone in the world wants to see them together again in any capacity. It's like everyone's childhood dream," none other than Lance Bass said on the VMAs red carpet.
Plus, when they make the music video, they can recreate these matching outfits from the 2001 American Music Awards. The denim manufacturers of the world need this, guys.
