Watch a Terrifying Preview for the Season Finale of 'Game of Thrones'

There's a lot to live up to after the Battle of the Bastards.

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Game of Thrones.

Traditionally, the ninth episode of every season of Game of Thrones features the most epic battle scenes and game-changing plot points. And that seems to be the case this season, with Sunday night's "Battle of the Bastards" leading to the death of Ramsay Bolton at the hands of his own hounds.

But that doesn't mean that the tenth episode, this Sunday night's season finale, is going to be boring. Hardly, if you can judge from HBO's preview clip. The trailer is infuriatingly vague, but it seems like the episode, titled "The Winds of Winter," will tie up a lot of loose ends left in the season.

In the clip, we see Cersei preparing for her trial, Jon telling Sansa, "we have so many enemies now," and the Freys and the Lannisters spookily "sending their regards" in a callback to the gory Red Wedding. We also see Sansa and Littlefinger scheming, Ser Daavos insisting Melisandre reveal something she did to Jon, and Tyrion telling Daenerys she's in "the great game now, and the great game is terrifying." On top of that, we see a brief flash of Bran and what looks like Jorah Mormont, so we'll be hearing from them as well.

Looks like there will be so many plot points it'll be tough to keep up. And since this is Game of Thrones, get ready for at least one infuriating cliffhanger. Watch the preview clip below and draw your own conclusions:
