This Poor Guy from 'Game Of Thrones' Is Being Blamed for the White Walkers Invading Westeros

And it's not someone you might expect.

While many people are pretty upset at Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) for double-crossing Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and refusing to send her armies to fight against the undead, there is one minor character who is surprisingly getting flak for the dire events at the end of Game of Thrones season seven.

Who is to blame for the White Walkers breaking through? Enter... Hot Pie. Yes, Hot Pie, played by Ben Hawkey.

We know—what could the guy have possibly done to draw the ire of some fans, but it turns out many of the scenes in the most recent season wouldn't have happened if he hadn't made one key decision.

At the beginning of the season, Arya was intent on traveling to King's Landing to kill Cersei. She, of course, would instead return to Winterfell. This had a domino effect, according to one Reddit user.

"Cersei could be dead now," the person said. "Jon and his company won't get a White Walker. They won't go beyond the wall. Viserion would be alive. The wall won't fall. And all Westeros would be united against the Night King."

And who stopped Arya from taking out Cersei?

That's right: Hot Pie, when he told her that Winterfell had been reclaimed.

Okay, so clearly this is just a little bit of fun, but...

When characters that we've loved for years start getting turned into White Walkers (as Nikolaj Coster-Waldau recently predicted), we will curse at the Night King first and foremost.

But after that? Dammit, Hot Pie!
