The more you can balance, the "skinnier" you are, according to Chinese news sites cited by ABC News. The trend was sparked on the same social network responsible for the belly button challenge, a bogus way to self-assess your weight. And look—people are already emptying their piggy banks to jump on board:

Because the number of coins you can balance on your collarbone says absolutely nothing about your sex appeal, let alone your health or weight, the outcome of this challenge is no more valid than any of these ridiculous spin-offs:
