A Mini Deep Dive Into the Royal Family's Birth Charts
Please file this under Very Important Content.

I'm not going to write this article and pretend like I haven't thought about Prince Harry's rising Cap sign (family! security!) ever since he became a #daddy to baby Archie back in May. And I'm also not going to pretend like I didn't scream when I found out Princess Charlotte and I have the exact same birth chart. If you're as royal- and astrology-obsessed as I am, please enjoy a mini deep dive into the immediate royal family members' birth charts (sun, moon, rising signs and all!), ahead.

Taurus Sun, Leo Moon, Virgo Rising
Thanks to her Leo moon, Liz is the sh*t and she knows it, but she won’t tell you that. Instead, her Taurus sun portrays her loyal and materialistic side (hence, her fierce dedication to her duty, and also, jewels). The Virgo rising is a clear indicator of the public persona she must keep up with—her obsessive organization and scheduling that created a thriving Commonwealth filled with a cool 2.4 billion citizens.

Gemini Sun, Leo Moon, Capricorn Rising
Oh, Philip. Only a Gemini with a Leo moon could pull off retiring from public duties, then picking and choosing whether he wants to attend events like his granddaughter's wedding. Team Philip Doing Whatever the F*ck He Wants in 2020. He shares a Cap rising with his grandson, Prince Harry.

Cancer Sun, Aquarius Moon, Sagittarius Rising
It's no secret that Princess Diana—an incredibly compassionate woman who cared deeply about her family (two main characteristics of Cancers)—struggled with depression and anxiety. However, she often masked her pain through laughter and jokes, a clear reflection of her rising Sag sign. Aquarius' have a knack for refusing to compromise their morals and values, hence Diana's decision to publicly reveal her then-husband Prince Charles' affair with Camilla Parker Bowles.

Cancer Sun, Cancer Moon, Sagittarius Rising
At the end of the day, Wills is just a sensitive guy who cares about his family and security. From an outside perspective (read: the Sagittarius rising), he seems like the kind of guy who enjoys traveling the world and meeting new people. Instead, he really just wants to be in his bed.

Capricorn Sun, Libra Moon, Rising Unknown
Since Kate Middleton's birth time isn't public, we aren't able to confirm her rising sign. However, her Capricorn sun reflects her ambition, practicality, and discipline. She's also an Earth sign, which is fitting since we know much Kate loves her gardens. The Libra moon shows some indecision rooted within her that she'll probably have to deal with before she becomes Queen (!).

Virgo Sun, Taurus Moon, Capricorn Rising
Prince Harry's Virgo sun is a clear reflection of how hardworking he is. Deep down, he appreciates where he came from and the incredible perks that come along with a royal title. Virgos suns aren't normally too comfortable in the spotlight, which is probably why Harry tends to keep it his engagements low-key when he can. His Taurus moon signals he's pretty romantic, but we already knew that...

Leo Sun, Libra Moon, Cancer Rising
Leo's love the limelight (hello, former Suits star!), but Meghan's Cancer rising balances her pride with a sensitivity that makes her universally loveable. Leos' intelligence often compels them to want to change the world for the better, and Meg's Libra moon suggests she has a strong desire for partnership, family, and love. She did, after all, marry a prince and have baby Archie less than a year later.

Scorpio Sun, Taurus Moon, Leo Rising
It should come as no surprise that Prince Charles is a Scorpio. I mean, have you seen his cracking bod? Like his mother and youngest son Prince Harry, he also has a Taurus moon, which reflects his deep-rooted stubbornness and love for his family.

Cancer Sun, Cancer Moon, Leo Rising
Poor Camilla. With a Cancer sun and moon (one of the most emotional signs of the zodiac), imagine how she must have felt being berated by the press for years after her affair with Prince Charles? You wouldn't know it though, thanks to her Leo rising—perhaps the only way she was able to show the public that she and her pride are doin' just fine.

Cancer Sun, Capricorn Moon, Scorpio Rising
Sweet little Prince George is a moody Cancer who just wants to play in the park. Or watch Trooping the Colour in peace. He's pretty shy, but he'll likely grow out of it by the time he becomes king thanks to the respect he'll receive, naturally, as a Scorpio rising.

Taurus Sun, Libra Moon, Cancer Rising
I share the exact same birth chart as Princess Charlotte, so I'm basically royal, right? Char's Taurus sign reflects her determination, individuality, and loyalty, but her Libra moon (similar to her mother) shows a need for balance while also grappling with indecisiveness. From an outside perspective, Charlotte's Cancer rising displays her generosity and warmth, which is likely why everyone loves her even when she sticks her tongue out at the crowd.

Taurus Sun, Leo Moon, Cancer Rising
Louis, your Leo moon is showing! The one-year-old shares a Taurus sun and Cancer rising with his older sister, Princess Charlotte. The major difference between the two is Louis loves the spotlight—though not necessarily in public, but definitely amongst his siblings.

Taurus Sun, Gemini Moon, Taurus Rising
Like his cousin Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, baby Archie is also a Taurus, but this time it's going to be on full-display thanks to his Taurus rising. His Gemini moon reveals his cleverness and wittiness, but he'll often struggle with making decisions. Either way, his parents will be there to help him along the way, so expect a love for books and travel. I mean, did you see how calm he was on Meg and Harry's royal tour to Africa?
