Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have started paying back the cost of renovations at Frogmore Cottage, as they pledged to do after stepping down as senior royals.

Before they moved into Frogmore Cottage, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle asked the Queen if they could live in Windsor Castle, where she and Prince Philip live.

The British taxpayer might not have paid for anything after all.

This year's Sovereign Grant report just came out (detailing how the British royals have spent funds via U.K. government grant) and for the 2018-2019 year, we got details on those substantial renovations that the originally "dilapidated" Frogmore Cottage had to undergo to be ready for Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and then baby Archie Harrison to move in.

Just days after the news broke that Meghan Markle will reportedly be the guest editor for the September issue of British Vogue, there have been reports that not only will Meghan do some writing about causes she cares about, but she's also inviting photographers into her home.

Now that Archie is here, they're back to construction.

It's a mere 20 feet away, apparently.

Meghan Markle reportedly hasn't yet hired a nanny or full staff at Frogmore Cottage, instead relying on mom Doria Ragland in the first couple weeks after she gave birth to her fabulous new baby, Archie Harrison. But now, Doria's headed back home to L.A., just as Meghan's best friend Jessica Mulroney was spotted taking a flight to London to visit. 

The couple had quietly moved in last year.

Baby Sussex has graced the world with his presence, and both Meghan Markle and the yet-to-be-named boy are apparently resting quietly and happily. It was already rumored that Meghan wanted to give birth at Frogmore Cottage instead of at a hospital and had been working with a doula. So did she give birth at home, like she wanted?

Despite a ton of speculation, no one really knows where Meghan Markle is set to deliver her first child with Prince Harry. Now, the Daily Mail is reporting that Meghan Markle won't be headed to a hospital at all and wants to have a midwife-led birth at Frogmore Cottage.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry JUST moved into Frogmore Cottage before the new baby arrives. According to the Daily Mail, one of the coolest new aspects of the house is reportedly on the grounds themselves—an organic vegetable garden plot so that Harry and Meghan can grow their own food and be as sustainable as they possibly can.
