Anyone see the pics of the planned changes to the Eiffel Tower? Hmm.
When I was in Paris a few years ago, my friends and I kept planning to take a tour of the tower, but we never actually followed through. It looked so pretty from afar, we figured—why fight the crowds to see it up close? I guess our mentality is what the tower managers are trying to combat. They're erecting this weird Frisbee-shaped observation deck at the top, right below the needle—which totally changes the iconic silhouette—in order to accommodate more people. At least it's temporary, thankfully, in honor of the tower's 120th anniversary. But still.
Daily Dishers: Waddaya think? Is the change good, bad, or iffy?
