1 1/2 parts SKYY Infusions Pineapple
1 1/2 parts fresh-squeezed orange juice
1 part guava puree

In an ice-filled shaker combine all ingredients, shake, and strain into ice-filled scorpion bowl. Garnish with a floating orchid and pineapple. Accessorize with straws.

Key Lime and Coconut Caipirinha
2 oz. Cabana Cachaça
1 tbsp. shredded coconut
1 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 lime, quartered
Crushed ice

Muddle lime with coconut and sugar. Add Cabana Cachaça, shake, and pour over ice.

2 parts Alizé Gold Passion
2 parts Bacardi Limón
Splash of Canton Ginger Liqueur
Splash of cranberry juice
Splash of lime juice
Splash of ginger ale

Mix all ingredients together in a shaker. Pour over ice and serve.

1 1/2 cups vodka
1 cup Midori
2 cups sour mix (Lemon-X)
2 cups pineapple juice
1 cup Sprite

Mix all ingredients together. Drizzle grenadine on the top and serve with plastic alligators.

Summertime in Paris
1 1/2 oz. SKYY Infusions Citrus Vodka
1/2 organic rosemary sprig
1/2 oz. Meyer lemon juice
1/2 oz. lemongrass simple syrup
Dash of soda

Muddle rosemary with lemon juice and simple syrup in a shaker. Add ice and SKYY Infusions Citrus Vodka and shake. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass and top with soda. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprig and serve.

1/2 oz. Lillet Blanc
1/2 oz. Lillet Rouge
1 1/2 oz. apple juice
1/4 oz. agave nectar

Spicy Pear Mojito
1/4 whole, fresh pear, cored, chopped
6 fresh mint leaves
3 lime wedges
1/2 oz. Monin Pineapple Chipotle Syrup
1/2 oz. simple syrup
1 1/2 oz. Grey Goose La Poire Vodka
1 oz. Perrier

Muddle pear, lime, and mint in shaker. Add ice, pineapple chipotle syrup, simple syrup, and Grey Goose La Poire. Shake vigorously. Strain loosely into a glass with ice. Top with Perrier. Garnish with a squeeze of lime, mint sprig, and a pear corkscrew.

Kiwifruit Lychee Sparkler
1 ZESPRI GOLD Kiwifruit, peeled and chopped
3 oz. vodka
2 oz. lychee syrup*
4 oz. ginger ale

Muddle kiwifruit, vodka, lychee syrup, and ice in cocktail shaker. Shake all ingredients, add ginger ale, and strain into two ice-filled collins glasses. Garnish with kiwifruit and lychee if desired. For mocktail, substitute 3 ounces extra ginger ale for alcohol.

*Look for canned lychees packed in lychee syrup in the Asian section of your grocery store.

Makes: 2 cocktails

1 1/2 oz. Grey Goose La Vanille
1 1/2 oz. TY KU Sake
2 oz. lychee juice
1 tsp. honey
Dash of cinnamon

Combine ingredients, minus cinnamon, in a shaker, fill with ice, and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a dash of cinnamon/cinnamon stick.

Both ancient Egyptians and ancient Greeks believed basil could open the gates of heaven. The good news is we don't have to wait until our souls leave our bodies to enjoy basil's sensitive warmth and subtle sweetness.

4 parts Russian Standard Vodka
3 parts fresh lime juice
3 fresh basil sprigs
2 tsp. sugar
Soda water

Muddle the basil and sugar in a highball glass. Fill with ice, add vodka and lime juice, and stir. Finish with a dash of soda and garnish with a sprig of basil.

12 fresh rosemary sprigs
6 fresh raspberries
3/4 oz. simple syrup
1 1/2 oz. Martini & Rossi Rosso Vermouth
2 oz. cranberry juice

Muddle rosemary, raspberries, and simple syrup in a mixing glass. Fill halfway with ice and add vermouth and cranberry juice. Shake 8-10 times. Double-strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with raspberries speared by a rosemary sprig.

Toasted Coconut Colada
1 1/2 oz. SKYY Infusions Pineapple
2 oz. toasted coconut
1/2 oz. Amaretto
1 oz. homemade sour mix (see recipe below)
2 oz. fresh pineapple
1 oz. Coco Lopez or sweetened coconut milk
2 dashes of Angostura bitters

Combine all ingredients plus 9 large ice cubes in blender and process until smooth. Serve in a hurricane glass. Top with toasted coconut and a pineapple wedge. Add a large straw and an orchid.

Homemade Sour Mix
1 part fresh lemon juice
1 part fresh lime juice
2 parts simple syrup
1/4 part fresh orange juice

2 oz. Plymouth Gin

Dita von Teese's cocktail is a bold drink featuring Cointreau as well as Monin violet syrup (a fragrant syrup that represents Dita's favorite flower).

Combine, and frost ginger around the rim of the glass.

In a pint glass, muddle fresh cucumber, kiwi, and lemon juice. Add ice, simple syrup, and gin. Shake vigorously and strain into stemmed cocktail glass. Garnish with sliced wheels of cucumber and kiwi.

Bonbon of the Vanities
While martini purists may balk, everybody has a sweet tooth, and the Bonbon of the Vanities hits all the stops.

1.7 oz Russian Standard Vodka
.85 oz. banana liqueur
.85 oz. peach liqueur
2.7 oz. orange juice
.33 oz. Grenadine

Fill 1/3 shaker with ice before adding ingredients. Shake for 3-5 seconds, add 3 ice cubes to a highball glass, and strain the mixture over ice. Add Grenadine and garnish with an orange slice.

Royal Pomme Punch
1/4 bottle Dubonnet Rouge
12 oz. apple brandy (such as Laird's Bonded or Calvados)
24 dashes of Angostura bitters
3 oz. fresh-squeezed orange juice
12 oz. Champagne

Add Dubonnet, apple brandy, orange juice, and bitters to a pitcher filled with ice. Stir and strain into a chilled punch bowl. Garnish with a block of ice. Top with champagne and serve.

Muddle fruits in a mixing glass. Add liquids and shake vigorously over crushed ice. Double-strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a sprig of grapes.

The grape is an imperial fruit if ever there was one — think Grecian gods drinking their wine. It's the succulent grapes in this cocktail that give it its royal flair.

Grown-Up Grape Soda
1 1/2 oz. Belvedere
1 oz. lemon juice
1 oz. simple syrup
3 oz. white cranberry juice
6 oz. Veuve Clicquot
20 red and white grapes, frozen

Add frozen grapes to the pitcher. Combine vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, and white cranberry juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into pitcher. Top with Veuve Clicquot and stir. Serve the pitcher with a fun stirrer and glasses garnished with 3-4 grapes

Muddle the cucumber and simple syrup in a mixing glass. Top with ice. Add tequila, cointreau, and lime juice. Shake well. Pour into a salt-rimmed highball glass.

Handful of bing cherries (reserve one for garnish)
Handful of blueberries

Muddle ginger, cherries, and blueberries in a mixing glass. Add gin and honey and fill with ice. Shake well for 10 seconds and double fine-strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry on the rim.

1 1/4 oz. citrus vodka
3/4 oz. peach liqueur

Pomegranate seeds

Place spoonful of pomegranate seeds in a chilled martini glass. In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, peach liqueur, and white cranberry juice with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into chilled martini glass. Top with Barefoot Bubbly and serve.

Somerset Sidecar
Tad Carducci, creator of this cocktail, was inspired by the bowls of apples, clementines, and nuts that his mother used to put out around the house during the holidays.

1 lemon wedge
Hazelnut sugar (see recipe below)
Ice
1 1/2 oz. apple brandy
3/4 oz. Cointreau or other triple sec
3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz. Frangelico
1 orange twist, for garnish

Moisten the outer rim of a martini glass with the lemon wedge and coat lightly with the hazelnut sugar. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the apple brandy, Cointreau, lemon juice, and Frangelico. Shake well and strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with the orange twist.

Hazelnut Sugar
1/3 cup toasted skinned hazelnuts
1/4 cup superfine sugar

In a mini food processor, pulse hazelnuts with sugar until sandy with some slightly larger bits. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to week.

3/4 oz. sour apple vodka

Violet Beauregarde
5 blueberries
1/2 oz. lemongrass syrup
3/4 oz. lemon juice
1/2 oz. Pagés Parfait Amour Liqueur
1 1/2 oz. Beefeater 24 (or other London Dry gin)
Fever Tree Bitter Lemon Soda
2 purple and 2 white violets
Lavender stem with flower

Fill a collins glass with ice, interspersing violets throughout. In a mixing glass, combine berries, syrup, and lemon juice. Muddle thoroughly. Add spirits and fill glass with ice. Shake vigorously. Add1 1/2 to 2 oz. Fever Tree bitter lemon soda to mixture. Strain mixture into prepared collins glass. Garnish with 2 blueberries, a long thin lemon twist, and a lavender sprig.

Note: To make lemongrass syrup, bring 4 cups water to a boil. Add 4 stalks chopped lemongrass. Let boil until reduced by half. Turn off heat and add 2 1/2 cups sugar. Stir well and strain. Let cool before using and refrigerate between uses.

Candied walnuts, for garnish

In a mixing glass, add molasses, lemon juice, and peach slices. Muddle thoroughly. Add spirits and fill with ice. Shake vigorously and strain through a chinois into a bucket glass filled with ice. Garnish with a thin slice of peach and a candied walnut.

Note: To infuse bourbon, split two vanilla beans lengthwise and drop them into a bottle of bourbon. Shake bottle once a day and let sit for 2-4 weeks.

Cucumber slices and sage leaves, for garnish

Combine gin, sage-infused simple syrup, and ice in a shaker tin. Shake and strain over ice in a highball glass. Fill with Prosecco. Stir gently. Garnish with cucumber slices and a sage sprig.

Sage-Infused Simple Syrup
Combine equal parts sugar and water and bring to boil, lower heat, toss in a few sprigs of sage, then reduce by a third to a half until you get a syrup consistency. It should have a pale green-gold color.
