Season 5 of Girls isn't premiering until February 21, but it seems the ending of the show is already nigh. E! News reports that sources say the popular series will be wrapping up after its sixth season. The news doesn't come as much of a surprise, as Lena Dunham has previously said that she hopes to leave the series on a high note.

"[We're] not in the business of running it into the ground," Dunham toldThe Hollywood Reporter in March. "We would like to end in a graceful place. And we'd like to tell a complete story. What that means is that we really have to start building towards an end soon, creatively."
