Not everybody knows this, but each month, I don an "ethical" outfit for my "Feel Good Fashion" page. It's not always easy to pull together, but I do manage to find cute and stylish pieces every month. For instance, in this pic from Marie Claire's April issue, I'm wearing a lemlem scarf, Edun blouse, and Covet shorts.
I've worn lemlem a ton in the past year, rocking one of their kaftans on my New Year's trip to Tulum. Apart from the fun colors and patterns, I love lemlem's pieces because the brand supports artisans in Ethiopia.
Edun is another awesome line that is trying to bring about positive change in Africa, working with groups like the Conservation Cotton Initiative Uganda to support African businesses and artistry. It's amazing how far the company has come since Ali Hewson started it in 2005.
And last but not least, my cute shorts are from Covet, a lesser-known brand that specializes in basics, and incorporates organic and sustainable fibers into all of its pieces.
