A favorite of Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, and the Olsens, the iconic Alexander Mcqueen skull scarf became a wardrobe staple in 2003. Now, Alexander McQueen is teaming up with conceptual artist, Damien Hirst, to give the scarf a buggy makeover for its 10th anniversary, according to Women's Wear Daily. Inspired by Hirst's "Entomology" series, in which the artist used insects to form intricate geometric designs, the skull patterns will take a similar form in the shape of butterflies, bugs, and spiders. There will be 30-limited edition scarves available in chiffon, pongee, twill, and cashmere with prices starting from $476.50. Scarves will be available for purchase starting in mid-November at Alexander McQueen boutiques and at alexandermcqueen.com.
